Help children understand mathematics

Become a volunteer and provide regular tutoring to children in care and support facilities. It only takes about 3 hours a week.

Your 3 hours can make a difference

Children in care and support facilities often need more than just help with their studies. They also need consistency, patience, and someone who believes in their potential.

With the help of volunteers, we can provide them with one-to-one support in mathematics.

150 hours of tutoring completed

Our goal? 450 hours!

What will you do?

Provide tutoring
You will regularly help children with mathematics at a level tailored to their individual needs.

Explain and support
It is not only about solving problems, but also about calmly addressing questions and helping students build confidence.

Benefit from our support
Throughout your volunteering, you will stay in regular contact with the programme coordinator.

You do not need to know the answer to every question. What matters most is patience, responsibility, and a willingness to help.

Who are we looking for?

  • People who are confident in mathematics at primary and/or secondary school level
  • Students and graduates from all fields of study
  • People who can commit around 3 hours per week
  • Patient, responsible, and punctual individuals
  • People who enjoy working with children and young people
  • People ready to commit for at least one semester (Tutoring is scheduled to begin in October.)

You won’t be doing this alone

As a foundation, we provide:

  • an introductory meeting,
  • materials and practical guidance,
  • ongoing contact with the programme coordinator,
  • support in difficult or unusual situations,
  • a certificate confirming your volunteer work.
